- Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (Light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping etc.)
- Monitor patients report on client condition changes to the Registered Nurse
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
- Maintain a high degree of patient confidentiality at all times due to access of sensitive information.
- Maintain regular consistent attendance, that is flexible to meet the needs of the client.
- Requirements:
- Must be 18 and over.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must have a true desire to care for others.
- Experience with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
- 2+ years of home care experience is required.
