If you’re active duty military or a veteran there are a number of discounts you can also take advantage as needed. For example, almost every hotel chain and attraction has military/veteran rates.
If you are eligible, you can also use many military benefits such as your local commissary, PX (post exchange), military hotels, clinics, etc. We have 2 commissaries opened to eligible military in Nassau (Mitchell Field across from the IRS and behind the Children’s Museum) and of course, Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn by the Verrazano Bridge.
